As we struggled to get the site ready through Thursdays downpour hundreds of you cued up to get a piece of the action. Family camping was heaving, like a communal paradise children running through the tall grass and smiling faces all around. There is something about Fieldview that makes people drop their shields and their armour. Something that makes people relate to each other like I imagine people did in the old days. There is trust at Fieldview.  As the site filled, the bar began to warm up its brand new pumps. Oh how you warmed to the bar. Autumn Shift hosted the opening nights funk off which saw Fieldview legends Oz ‘Funkleton’, Chris ‘FunkEnt’ and Jonny ‘McFunkston battle for the Funk Off crown. The winner was decided by a late drop of ‘Superstitious’ by Mr Stevie Wonder and Oz Funkleton won the 2011 Funk Crown.
