Fieldview Preview No. 2 - Live Theatre

Made In China: Village Stage (Fri- 13:50- 14:40// Sat- 13:15-13:50.)

This year we have our first Theatre Company performing at Fieldview.

Made In China have been ripping it up at Theatre’s across England and even the big fat U.S. of A. over the past year. Their shows are dam right crazy with ketchup, digestives, flour, and milk all getting a run out and the odd explosion or two!

They will be performing two shows for us:

Stationary Excess

Imprisoned on an exercise bicycle, a lone woman tells the story of an extraordinary man. Stationary Excess is a daringly honest solo performance that evokes the absurdity, pain and hilarity of being alone. A bizarre and intimate experience that will scream out to anyone who has ever loved and lost.

We Hope You Are Happy (Why Would We Lie?)

A live art piece that has a very theatrical text at its centre, juggling micro and macro politics in a game of relationality- We Hope You Are Happy (Why Would We Lie?) explores how we relate- to each other, to events we experience through television sets and eventually to events that happen to us. How this relationship means we’re never sure, but always selfish, placing empathy in shoddy territory.
