Did anyone else get their hands on this album as quick as they could last Monday?

Been on heavy rotation at Fieldview HQ and Ben Howard has not let us down. The album is a huge leap forwards in comparisons to the previous EPs. The EPs were like cold fragile and socially awkward siblings compared to the LP ‘Every Kingdom.’ This albums breathes deeper, it travels further and speaks deeper than the EPs. There are gang vocals and some bits are so polished they seem a little too glamourous. Highlights so far are the extended ending on ‘Old Pine’ and ‘Only Love’ is a heart on sleeve beautiful love song. 

Ben Howard has a way to strike right at the heart strings. It is the sign of a true artist, someone who is able to tap into the emotions and experiences of their listeners. ‘Every Kingdom’ has a warmth to it that the EPs did not have and with winter fast approaching it is just the soundtrack you need; so pull your loved one close and cuddle up warm by the fire and enjoy ‘Every Kingdom.’
